Job description

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Product Engineer (.NET and Web Design) to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications that support our healthcare and benefits administration systems. This role combines software engineering, web design, product development, and database management to create reliable, user-friendly solutions for employers, members, and internal staff.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving business problems, creating intuitive user experiences, and taking ownership of products from concept through deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using the Microsoft .NET platform.
  • Build clean, modern user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Develop secure RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems.
  • Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, and queries.
  • Work with EDI transactions including HIPAA formats such as 834, 835, and 837.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Improve existing applications through performance tuning, usability enhancements, and automation.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and recommend technology improvements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Perform code reviews and testing to ensure software quality.
  • Assist in deploying applications and supporting production environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
  • C#
  • ASP.NET MVC and/or ASP.NET Core
  • .NET Framework/.NET
  • Microsoft SQL Server

  • Experience designing responsive websites and web applications.
  • Experience building REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of relational database design.
  • Familiarity with Git or Azure DevOps source control.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business users.
