The responsibilities of this role include complex deliveries, and escalation management. Along with the technical aptitude, this role is client facing, and the individual needs to also possess excellent communication, critical thinking, and other soft skills to ensure high client satisfaction.
- Strong understanding of Laboratory Informatics Systems and how they interact with other systems at customer level.
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills; knows when to engage other people in the organization to resolve customer's issues in a timely matter.
- Effectively communicates with highly IT technical individuals and people without a technical background both at customer and organization's multiple levels.
- This role impacts customer satisfaction and revenue generation as the successful implementation of the informatics solution is fundamental for new customers to be up and running successfully.
- Assess information to create implementation plan and partners with other informatics specialist to ensure smooth transition to implementation.
- Sound understanding of diagnostics laboratory workflows and related technologies
- Relevant hands-on experience and technical expertise in implementing, configuring and integrating laboratory information systems, middleware and/or analyzer management systems, or inventory management systems used in diagnostics laboratories
- Demonstrate technical proficiency and leadership in solutions design, systems architecture, implementation planning, problem resolution, et al, specifically with regards one or more laboratory systems mentioned earlier, and delivering customer value, * Bachelor's degree in computer science; information systems; medical technology; or related field.
- 2 years of informatics technical application experience in hospital or laboratory settings.
- Minimum of 3 years of systems/instrument software integration and support experience.
- Must be able to travel up to 80%., * Previous experience in Lab Operations
- Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Medical or Hospital Informatics or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years of experience working on site with customer facing solutions.
- 3 or more years of experience installing, configuring and/ or maintaining diagnostics laboratory informatics applications
- At least 2 years of experience with utilizing analytical skills in informatics using various tools.
- Proven ability to execute assigned tasks with a high degree of commitment and quality, independently, with ownership and accountability for solving complex problems
- Experience database management and healthcare interface experience or relevant comparable experience.

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 - $156,000.00
