- Develop monitoring, alerting, and detection capabilities for user activity, data access, and potential misuse.
- Implement data protection, governance, and compliance controls.
- Build dashboards, reports, and security metrics to track risk and adoption.
- Partner with security operations teams to support investigations and incident response.
- Establish governance standards for applications, automations, integrations, and AI-powered solutions.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or Data Protection.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft's security and compliance technologies.
- Strong understanding of data governance, DLP, identity security, compliance, and threat detection.
- Experience building security monitoring, analytics, dashboards, and investigations.
- Ability to communicate technical risks and security controls to both technical and non-technical stakeholders., * Experience securing AI, automation, or cloud collaboration platforms.
- Knowledge of behavioral analytics, insider risk, and user activity monitoring.
- Experience working within regulated industries.
- Relevant Microsoft security certifications are a plus., * Microsoft Security & Compliance

Benefits & conditions
This is a Contract position based out of Irving, TX. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
