Job description
Our Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) team provides the critical digital architecture needed to modernize the U.S. ICBM weapon system. As a Senior MS&A Developer Engineer, you will embark on a long-term career dedicated to the Sentinel program, ensuring the next generation of ballistic missiles is safe, accurate, and effective. In this job, you will lead the development of high-fidelity simulation tools that predict flight performance and validate vehicle design., As a Senior MS&A Developer Engineer, your primary goal is to ensure the LGM-35A Sentinel performs flawlessly through the development of a six-degrees-of-freedom (6-DOF) simulation model. Your day-to-day functions will include:
- Simulation Development: Designing, coding, and testing advanced rocket and missile dynamics simulations to evaluate flight performance.
- Technical Validation: Applying advanced engineering theories to ensure MS&A tools are accurate, complete, and based on sound physical principles.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with developers and engineers to evaluate solid rocket motors, guidance equipment, and propulsion systems.
- Strategic Reporting: Translating complex simulation data into technical briefings and reports for the System Program Office.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Software Engineering or Computer Science 12+ years of industry experience (10 years with a graduate degree).

Understanding of agile software development practices and procedures.

Developer level proficiency with configuration management tools such as Git.

Developer level proficiency with coding languages such as C++ and Python.

Current US DoD/DoW Secret Security Clearance.

The ability to achieve and maintain a US DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.

12 years of progressive experience in systems design, integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems/processes.

U.S. Citizenship with an active US DoD Top Secret Security Clearance granted within the last 5 years.

Experience with Department of Defense projects, DoD Acquisition Lifecycle, and/or ICBM weapon system.

Experience with 6 degree-of freedom simulations.

Model development of rocket or missile systems Experience with optimization algorithms and analyzing large data sets.
Benefits & conditions
Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486
