Shift times are general hours; some projects may require earlier or later reporting based on customer requirements., IDS is seeking an Information Technology Technician I to provide technical support for computer systems, network infrastructure, and enterprise IT environments. The selected candidate will assist with the administration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux systems while supporting physical, virtual, and cloud-based network environments. This position requires a foundation in information technology and networking, along with experience supporting enterprise systems and virtualization technologies in a secure operational environment.

Key Duties

  • Support the operation and maintenance of computer systems and network infrastructure.

  • Assist with administration of Windows enterprise and Linux server operating systems.

  • Monitor system and network performance across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.

  • Support virtualization platforms and hosted environments.

  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of network and system configurations.

  • Support infrastructure monitoring and routine system maintenance activities.

  • Identify and report system vulnerabilities and support mitigation efforts.

  • Maintain technical documentation and administrative records.

  • Coordinate with technical teams to support operational and project requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.

  • Active Secret security clearance required.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with computer systems, information technology, and networking.

  • Demonstrated experience with Windows enterprise and Linux server operating systems engineering and administration, including knowledge of network vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation.

  • Demonstrated experience with cloud, physical, and virtual network architecture, engineering, and infrastructure monitoring.

  • Expertise with hypervisors such as VMware, KVM, and Xen., Do you possess an associate degree or equivalent professional experience?* Do you have at least one (1) year of experience working with computer systems, information technology, and networking?* Do you have experience administering Windows enterprise and Linux server operating systems?*
