Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced HRIS / Payroll Administrator to join their Human Resources team. This role is responsible for managing bi-weekly payroll while supporting HRIS administration, reporting, compliance, and payroll process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the payroll function while partnering closely with HR and leadership.

This role is a hybrid model in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Payroll and HRIS Administrator Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for approximately 400 employees.
  • Maintain payroll accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Administer and support ADP Workforce Now.
  • Audit payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll records and reporting.
  • Support payroll general ledger reconciliation.
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2s and ACA reporting.
  • Produce payroll and HRIS reports for management.
  • Support HRIS maintenance, troubleshooting, and system improvements.
  • Assist with benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance reporting.
  • Partner with HR and leadership to improve payroll and HR processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of payroll administration experience.
  • 3+ years of ADP Workforce Now experience.
  • Multi-state payroll experience required.
  • Experience processing payroll for 400+ employees preferred.
  • Strong understanding of payroll tax and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • CPP certification is a plus.
