Job description
We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our R&D team and own that translation layer between the customer and the platform. You'll take complex, real-world customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and turn them into precise, custom workflows inside our core system - software defined workflows that govern the rules and timing of every order activity. You'll also configure the mobile workflows our drivers follow in the field, ensuring that every customer-specified action is performed correctly, every time., Work closely with onboarding, operations, account management, and product to gather requirements, clarify ambiguity in customer SOPs, and validate that configured workflows reflect real operational intent. Serve as the bridge between what a customer says they need and how the platform delivers it., Own the metrics that prove your configurations are working as intended. Track how faithfully operations adhere to the workflows you've built - surfacing where reality diverges from the configured procedure and feeding that back into better configurations. Drive up the share of orders that run on auto-pilot, where the platform executes the right activities at the right time without manual intervention. And monitor service levels across orders governed by Task Workflows, ensuring that the precision of your configurations translates directly into reliable, on-time, mission-critical delivery. Use these signals - adherence, automation rate, and service-level performance - to continuously identify what to refine next.
Requirements
- 2-4+ years of experience in solutions engineering, implementation, systems configuration, business analysis, or a comparable role that bridges customer requirements and a technical platform.
- A proven background taking complicated SOPs and parsing them into actionable process flow diagrams or structured workflows is highly desired.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail - you naturally bring structure to complexity and don't let edge cases slip through.
- Experience governing processes that encourages adoption without proliferation
- Comfort working with structured data and configuration logic (e.g., JSON, rules engines, conditional/branching logic). You don't need to be a software engineer, but you should be able to read, reason about, and build logical rule structures confidently.
- Strong communication and requirements-gathering skills, with the ability to interview stakeholders and customers to surface the real process beneath a written SOP.
- Familiarity with process-mapping tools (e.g., BPMN, Lucidchart, Visio) is a plus.
- Logistics, supply chain, or operations experience preferred but not required - we'll help you build domain expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
