Looking for a Local Wix Developer

We are seeking a Wix Website Developer to work directly with the founder to complete the final technical refinements of an existing ecommerce website.

The website layout, structure, and creative direction are already established. This role focuses on execution, optimization, responsiveness, and technical polish.

This is not a full website build or redesign role. The goal is to preserve the existing vision while improving functionality, user experience, and launch readiness.

Responsibilities

• Convert image-based text into proper Wix text elements/HTML where appropriate
• Improve mobile responsiveness across devices
• Refine spacing, alignment, and visual consistency
• Optimize website performance and loading experience
• Ensure website sections display correctly across browsers and screen sizes
• Review user experience flow and recommend technical improvements
• Collaborate directly with the founder during focused working sessions

This Role Does NOT Include

• Creating a new website from scratch
• Redesigning the existing brand direction
• Developing product concepts or branding
• Managing social media or marketing campaigns
• Replacing the existing creative vision

• Proven experience building and refining Wix websites
• Experience with Wix Studio preferred
• Experience with ecommerce websites
• Strong understanding of responsive web design
• Attention to detail with spacing, typography, and user experience
• Ability to communicate clearly and work independently
• Reliable and organized, * Experience with Wix Studio/custom code
• Experience optimizing ecommerce conversion flows
• Experience with premium product or apparel websites
• Understanding of SEO best practices
• Experience working with startups or founder-led brands

$30 - $75 an hour - Contract, Paid, project-based contract.
