Job description
- Supervise and mentor desktop support and end-user technology personnel, providing guidance, coaching, workload management, and performance oversight.
- Lead day-to-day operations of the end-user computing environment, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and escalations.
- Oversee desktop support for end users across hardware, software, enterprise applications, and Microsoft technologies.
- Manage and support endpoint devices across Windows environments, including laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and remote workforce technologies.
- Coordinate device lifecycle management activities, including provisioning, imaging, deployment, refreshes, patching, and retirement.
- Drive endpoint management initiatives utilizing Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or similar endpoint management platforms.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues involving operating systems, network connectivity, identity management, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Oversee endpoint compliance, security standards, and configuration management in partnership with Infrastructure and Information Security teams.
- Manage small to mid-sized technology projects related to endpoint modernization, Microsoft platform adoption, device management, and user experience improvements.
- Participate in evaluating and planning future Microsoft technologies, licensing strategies, endpoint management capabilities, and workplace technology initiatives.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, service standards, and support documentation to improve consistency and team effectiveness.
- Monitor service metrics, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance support delivery and end-user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with business leaders and IT stakeholders to prioritize technology initiatives and align support services with organizational goals.

This role combines technical leadership, team supervision, project coordination, and hands-on support responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience leading technical teams, driving endpoint initiatives, and partnering with infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to improve the employee technology experience., * 5+ years of IT support, endpoint management, or desktop engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience leading teams, supervising technical staff, or managing projects.
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows, Active Directory/Azure AD, Intune, SCCM, and endpoint management technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience developing processes, improving service delivery, and driving operational excellence.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Downers Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
