Job description
A large financial client in Cincinnati is looking for a 6 month contract to hire Project Manager II to support a high-visibility Producer Management transformation initiative. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and two Business Analysts to drive project planning, execution, communication, and delivery. The ideal candidate has experience leading enterprise projects, excels at stakeholder management, and is looking for an opportunity to grow into larger strategic initiatives. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules and project plans
- Lead daily, weekly, and ad hoc project meetings
- Coordinate deliverables across business and technology teams
- Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items
- Prepare meeting notes, status reports, and stakeholder communications
- Monitor project scope and ensure deliverables remain on track
- Escalate project issues and provide recommendations for resolution
- Partner closely with two Business Analysts to drive requirements and project execution Work with leadership and project teams to ensure successful delivery of key business initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
- Experience leading enterprise-level technology and business projects
- Strong project scheduling, planning, and coordination experience
- Experience managing project scope, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and executive status updates
- Agile and Waterfall project delivery experience
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow strongly preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Microsoft Project expertise
- ServiceNow experience
- Modern Requirements experience
- PMP Certification
- ITIL or Six Sigma certification
- Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT Financial services, insurance, or highly regulated industry experience
