Job description
Senior Pega Developer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Livonia, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Engaged in all aspects of a project, they design and develop the Pega solution end-to-end. Using a Business Architect's functional design, the Senior developer supports the technical design, develops the enterprise application and reviews infrastructure requirements such as data architecture definitions and data management plans. Candidates should guide and lead young software engineers, deliver technical guidance and develop, enable team members, and provides knowledge transfer to customer. Be able to analyze and understand as well as create technical designs and development based on PegaPRPC and Pega cloud ensuring a high standard of software delivery following SOA and architectural practices. Collaborate with offshore and onshore designers and developers to prepare effective designs and deliver required functional and non-functional benefits and follow industry best practice. Help to resolve technical issues and mitigate technical risks across the Domain technical portfolio. Pega performance analysis and tuning. Lead the team to follow best development practices. Drive the implementation of CI/CD pipeline for the applications. Work with and leads on shore and offshore development teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 5 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Utilizing Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Processing Commander) BPM or Pega Cloud platform to implement enterprise-level applications that automate critical business operations and complex case management workflows and decisioning logic. 2. Utilizing MS SQL Server to write complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for data manipulation and retrieval. 3. Applying LSA certified experience to assist design architects to architect scalable and robust business process management solutions. 4. Developing and improving API services that use Pega PRPC platform to support business process integration. 5. Applying Pega Decisioning to design and implement new capabilities of Pega PRPC into business processes. 6. Utilizing JAVA skills to support and maintain existing microservice architecture that PEGA integrated. 7.
