This role ensures the secure design, testing, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise operating system images and task sequences in both on-premises MECM and MED365 Intune cloud environments. The EM OSD Specialist ensures that all DHA-managed devices receive secure, reliable, and standardized operating system builds. Design, build, and maintain OSD task sequences in compliance with DHA security baselines, ensuring alignment with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), IAVM directives, and enterprise standards.

Develop and deploy Windows operating system images for desktops, laptops, and servers, including validation in ITC test environments prior to enterprise release.

Integrate and troubleshoot driver packages, firmware updates, and middleware components within OSD pipelines.

Provide technical documentation, after-action reports, and updated release notes to support change management and enterprise sustainment processes.

Coordinate with EM Packaging and Administration teams to ensure OS images align with enterprise software packages, security patches, and application readiness.

Support modernization efforts to transition OSD processes into cloud-native Intune/Autopilot deployments in alignment with DHA's Zero Trust strategy.
