We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Technician to join our technology support team! In this role, you will be the frontline hero for maintaining and troubleshooting our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across hardware, software, and network systems. - Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Administer operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage Active Directory accounts for user access control, password resets, and group policy application.
- Support system administration tasks including Windows Server management, network configuration (LAN/WAN), VPN setup, firewall management, and server backups.
- Conduct hardware maintenance and upgrades to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Assist with software troubleshooting across various applications like Microsoft Office suite and specialized enterprise tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles with a strong focus on customer service.
- Technical proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and computer networking fundamentals such as LAN/WAN configurations.
- Familiarity with Active Directory management, Windows Server administration, BMC Remedy or ServiceNow ticketing systems, and help desk operations.
- Knowledge of hardware maintenance including troubleshooting computer hardware issues and supporting hardware upgrades.
- Experience with security protocols such as VPNs, firewalls, and basic cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
