engineer who enjoys working across the full software delivery lifecycle-from designing cloud-native applications and APIs to deploying and operating them in production. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and platform services within AWS
- Build backend services, APIs, and microservices that support platform capabilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, and deployments
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using modern cloud automation practices
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, and AI Engineering teams to deliver scalable platform solutions
- Monitor platform performance, reliability, and operational health
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement continuous improvements
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to engineering standards and best practices
- Help improve platform scalability, resiliency, and developer productivity through automation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or Full Stack Development
- Strong hands-on experience building applications and services in AWS
- Experience developing backend services, REST APIs, or microservices
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience deploying and supporting cloud-native applications in production
- Experience working across both application development and cloud infrastructure
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and modern software engineering principles
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Java, Python, Go, C#, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale production applications
- Experience working in Agile software development environments
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
- Understanding of networking concepts and distributed application architectures

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
