Job description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines for enterprise analytics. This role requires strong expertise in AWS, Snowflake, Python, ETL, and Big Data technologies. The ideal candidate will also provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and collaborate with business and data teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Requirements

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders preferred, all valid work authorizations may apply Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Or related field, Required Skills * 7+ years of Data Engineering experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python and ETL development
  • Expertise in AWS data services (Glue, Lambda, Athena, S3, etc.)
  • Experience with Snowflake and Big Data technologies
  • Strong SQL and database programming skills
  • Experience building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines
  • Data modeling, data integration, and data quality experience
  • Hands-on data testing and validation
  • Experience with DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, automated deployments)
  • Agile development experience

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience leading Data Engineering projects or mentoring teams
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and modern data platforms
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Financial Services domain experience is a strong plus, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Experience with BI and analytics tools
  • Knowledge of data governance and metadata management
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and lead technical initiatives
