IT Specialist

As an IT Specialist at W.W. Williams, you will provide technical support to employees as well as monitor, maintain, and upgrade Branch office server, network, and telecommunications systems., * Provide first and second level technical support in response to incoming IT Service Desk tickets while providing excellent customer service.

• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware, operating system, and software-related problems for both local and remote users.
• Ensure proper documentation of all Service Desk related activity in the Service Desk Ticketing System.
• Administer client, server, LAN, WAN, and WLAN hardware in use at Branch locations.
• Administer company application and technology services as assigned.
• Install and configure system and network equipment as needed.
• Make recommendations for future system and network upgrades at Branch locations.
• Coordinate with other IT department staff to assist with system and application implementations and upgrades.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to perform onsite cabling and infrastructure work.

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Experience in a Help Desk/Customer support role.
• Basic network troubleshooting.
• PC imagining/deployment.
• VolP Telephony.
• Experience supporting remote users.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
