Job description
Scrum Master Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a large-scale enterprise transformation initiative focused on replacing a legacy business system. This individual will play a key role in facilitating Agile delivery across multiple Scrum teams, driving collaboration, removing impediments, and coaching both technical and business stakeholders on Agile best practices. The ideal candidate is a strong servant leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, experience working with globally distributed teams, and a passion for helping teams achieve successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
- Support multiple Agile teams to ensure successful sprint execution and delivery.
- Identify, track, and remove impediments that may impact team productivity or project timelines.
- Coach development teams, business stakeholders, and leadership on Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and mindset.
- Partner with Product Owners to promote effective backlog management and prioritization.
- Manage and maintain Jira boards, dashboards, and reporting to provide visibility into team progress and delivery metrics.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
- Monitor team health, sprint performance, and Agile maturity, recommending improvements where needed.
- Support enterprise-wide transformation efforts by helping teams adopt and scale Agile practices.
Requirements

5+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software development teams.

Proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and Agile delivery processes.

Strong hands-on experience with Jira, including board management, sprint tracking, and reporting.

Experience working with geographically dispersed or global teams.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively remove obstacles and improve team effectiveness.

Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated ability to influence and coach teams at varying levels of Agile maturity. Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a Project Manager.

Experience supporting large-scale enterprise application implementations or system replacement initiatives.

Knowledge of Agile scaling frameworks and enterprise Agile environments.

Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master are preferred.

Experience coaching Product Owners on backlog management, prioritization, and ownership responsibilities. What We're Looking For

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Miramar, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
