Job description
- Support the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design
- Support the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups
- Perform and document system performance using computational analysis tools to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
- Perform detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations
- Contribute to supplier development, test and production activates and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals
- Prepare technical documents for mechanical components and systems

Ingenuity Innovation Siemens NX Reliability Prototyping Coordinating Export Control Solid Modeling Microsoft Excel Systems Thinking Secret Clearance Mechanism Design Security Clearance Thermal Management Design Documentation Supplier Development Computer-Aided Design Collective Bargaining Interdisciplinary Collaboration Computer Aided Three-Dimensional Interactive Application (CATIA), * Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
- 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Experience with 3D solid modeling software applications (e.g. NX, Catia, CADD)
- Experience with mechanism /kinematic design
- This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
- This position requires ability to obtain Special Program Access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
- (Level 4): 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Experience with Unigraphics (UG)
- The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation

Summary pay range:
Level 3: $103,700 - $140,300
Level 4: $126,650 - $171,350
