- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and related hardware components.
- Troubleshoot software problems including applications like Microsoft Office and operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
- Manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory, ensuring secure access to systems and resources.
- Support system administration tasks including Windows Server management, network connectivity (LAN), VPN setup, firewalls, and computer networking.
- Perform hardware maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to keep equipment running at peak performance.
- Utilize help desk tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy for ticket tracking and incident management.
- Assist with IT infrastructure support including server administration, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and basic Linux support when needed.
- Maintain documentation of technical procedures and asset inventories to streamline future support efforts.

Requirements
- Proven experience in technical support roles or desktop support positions within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11), macOS, Linux (basic support).
- Hands-on experience with hardware support such as desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Familiarity with software troubleshooting processes for common applications like Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience managing Active Directory accounts and permissions; knowledge of Windows Server administration is a plus.
- Understanding of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN configuration, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices.
- Skilled in using help desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira for issue tracking and resolution documentation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and outstanding customer service.
- Technical proficiency in troubleshooting hardware failures, software conflicts, network issues, and operating system errors is essential for success in this role.
