Job description

Insight Global is seeking a systems engineer to support a higher performance compute company. This person will manage the full lifecycle of a project from assessing customer needs, requirement development, through testing and completing the customer project. This person will be focusing primarily on the front end and will also be responsible for NVQUAL testing, GPU burn and thermal testing. This person should also have a strong understanding of Linux, Nvidia products, and servers. This person should also have experience working within a defense environment and working with MIL STD requirements.

Additional responsibilities include:

Lead technical projects from initial customer concept through design, development, integration, and final verification. Translate customer requirements into detailed system and subsystem requirements. Develop project scope, engineering estimates, and technical plans. Serve as the technical lead for integrated product teams, coordinating activities across engineering disciplines. Drive requirements generation, decomposition, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Support system architecture, design reviews, integration activities, and verification planning. Collaborate with customers, program management, and engineering teams to ensure project success. Support system-level testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities. Work in Linux environments utilizing command-line tools for system setup, package installation, and configuration. Provide technical guidance to engineers and stakeholders throughout development efforts.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Related Field 3+ Years of experience leading product development 3+ Years of experience working within a defense environment 3+ Years of Experience working with Linux 2+ Years working with NVIDIA or related products
