Oracle APEX Lead Developer

Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Lead Developer to provide expert solution development, maintenance, and modernization services within a fully staffed, cross-functional Agile Scrum team. This role will lead the technical delivery, configuration, and custom development of a diverse portfolio of applications, ensuring code quality, security compliance, and operational excellence across multiple business-critical systems., * Lead Oracle APEX application design, development, and modernization efforts.

• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance across the team.
• Ensure sprint commitments and project deliverables are met.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce secure coding standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices.
• Oversee application documentation and operational procedures.
• Provide Tier 2/3 production support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Eligible to acquire and maintain Government Security Clearance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of software development and technical leadership experience.

• Strong expertise with Oracle APEX and Oracle Database 12c+.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies and SDLC processes.

• Strong SQL/PLSQL, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment., * Azure Cloud experience.

• Familiarity with IBM InfoSphere.

• Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and application modernization.

• Government contracting or regulated industry experience preferred.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $120K-$135K.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
