You will be a valued member of the Data & Analytics team and work collaboratively with solution architects, engineering teams, client stakeholders, product owners, and delivery leadership.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, develop, and oversee scalable data transformation frameworks using Python, PySpark, Apache Airflow, and AWS-native services.
  • Lead large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives, leveraging AWS DMS and schema conversion tools to transition legacy environments to cloud-native architectures.
  • Drive performance, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization across AWS data ecosystems, including Redshift, Athena, EMR, and related services.
  • Partner with client architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to guide technical strategy, conduct architecture and code reviews, and ensure successful project delivery in complex enterprise environments.

  • Deep expertise with AWS services including Glue, Redshift, Aurora, EMR, S3, Athena, Kinesis, Lambda, and related data technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, data modeling, Python, and PySpark for developing production-grade data pipelines and analytics solutions.
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing complex workflows using Apache Airflow.
  • Proven success delivering large-scale database modernization and cloud migration programs.
  • Strong understanding of data lake, data warehouse, and modern data architecture patterns.
  • Experience leading technical teams in Agile delivery environments and mentoring engineers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage client architects and senior technical leaders.

These will help you stand out

  • Experience optimizing performance and cost efficiency across large AWS data environments.
  • Expertise with Spark and Hadoop ecosystems on Amazon EMR.
