Job description
The Web Application Developer will play a key role in advancing Stratatek's digital presence and business technology. The primary focus of this role is to lead the redevelopment of our website in Wix Studio, effectively showcasing our products, services, and technical capabilities. This is a hands-on technical role for an experienced developer who enjoys solving business problems through technology. Beyond website development, you'll work closely with management to identify opportunities to improve business processes, implement practical technology solutions, integrate business systems, and leverage AI and automation where they provide real business value.
This is an in-person position based in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Lead the creation of our corporate website in Wix Studio.
- Improve website appearance, usability, navigation, and overall customer experience.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and responsiveness.
- Develop new website functionality and customer-focused tools.
- Design and develop internal business applications and software solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Evaluate and implement practical AI tools and automation solutions that create measurable business value.
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes through technology and software.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend practical solutions that improve productivity and customer experience.
- Manage external developers, consultants, and technology vendors when specialized expertise is required.
- Document business applications, technical processes, and system architecture.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Software Development, Digital Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional software or web application development experience.
- Strong experience designing and developing modern websites.
- Experience with creating websites in Wix Studio.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience developing business applications or internal software tools.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and modern productivity technologies.
- Experience with automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, Power Automate, n8n, or similar.
- Experience working with external developers and managing technical projects.
- Knowledge of the electronics, engineering, or test & measurement industry is an asset., * Associate (Preferred)
Experience:
- Website management: 3 years (Preferred)
- Technical writing: 1 year (Preferred)
