Job description

  • Provide first-level technical support to clients and staff
  • Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems
  • Troubleshoot common Windows, Microsoft 365, and printer issues
  • Assist with workstation setup, deployment, and upgrades
  • Configure user accounts, passwords, and basic access permissions
  • Perform software installations and updates
  • Document support activities and resolutions
  • Assist senior technicians with client projects and maintenance tasks
  • Travel to client locations when required

Requirements

Ethixa Solutions is seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join our team on a part-time basis.

This position is ideal for a student, recent graduate, career changer, or technology enthusiast looking to gain real-world IT experience. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of technical support tasks while learning from experienced engineers and technicians.

No prior professional IT experience is required. We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for technology., Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong interest in information technology
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred

  • Enrollment in or completion of an IT-related degree or certification program
  • CompTIA A+ certification (or working toward certification)
  • Experience building or repairing computers
  • Familiarity with: Windows 11 and Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, Basic networking concepts, Printers and scanners, Mobile devices
