Job description

job summary: Join a dynamic team dedicated to creating world-class immersive digital experiences. We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience across all technology-led initiatives, spanning Attractions, Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts, and Merchandise. As a Systems Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain high-traffic applications that fundamentally shape how our customers interact with our brand.

responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, and implement applications supporting core business processes and operations.
  • Contribute to the development, testing, evaluation, and design of highly scalable system architecture.
  • Assist in triaging product defects across multiple applications and service layers while utilizing monitoring tools like Splunk to minimize error rates.
  • Partner cross-functionally to evaluate the impact of new product builds, architecture capabilities, and delivery methods.

qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of related technical experience working on consumer- and employee-facing enterprise systems.

Deep expertise in maintaining web, caching, and queuing technologies in large, high-traffic environments, as well as architecting highly available systems.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software/Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field of study (or equivalent work experience).

Must be local to Orlando, FL, and able to work full-time onsite.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced knowledge of manual testing methodologies.

Comfortable working in an agile environment.

Proactive demeanor towards continuous learning and an interest in mastering emerging data engineering tools and methodologies.
