Job description

This Hardware Engineer will design, develop, test, and validate electronic hardware used in AMI/Smart Grid systems. The position involves working on cutting edge technology in a collaborative full-lifecycle environment., * Design circuit schematics, perform simulation, and layout PCB designs.

  • Select components and design system-level hardware.
  • Conduct electrical verification and validation through bench and environmental testing.
  • Perform root cause analysis on product failures, including manufacturing and field returns.
  • Support product development from initial concept through to production.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver integrated smart grid solutions.

Requirements

Visionary Innovation Oscilloscope Communication Circuit Design Root Cause Analysis Electronic Hardware Digital Electronics Computer Engineering Laboratory Equipment Printed Circuit Board Hardware Architecture New Product Development Artificial Intelligence Engineering Design Process Verification And Validation Troubleshooting (Problem Solving), * 2+ years of electronics/hardware engineering experience.

  • Strong circuit design experience, both analog and digital.
  • Experience with component selection and schematic design.
  • Proficiency in hands-on electrical testing, including bench testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with design tools like Altium (preferred) and LTspice or similar.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for failures, whether in manufacturing or field returns.
  • Familiarity with test methodologies such as HALT, HASS, or FALT.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit theory.
  • Ability to independently read and troubleshoot schematics.
  • Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and DC supplies.
  • Familiarity with development and validation processes.
  • Strong technical and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and drive problem-solving.

Work Environment
