Job description
Support the GIS and work order systems used to manage utility assets, projects, maintenance, and daily operations., * Create and maintain GIS maps, dashboards, applications, and databases
- Collect, update, analyze, and verify geographic and utility asset data
- Support Trimble Work Order Management configuration, testing, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Work with engineering and operations teams to improve data, processes, and reporting
- Assist with automation, system integrations, technical support, and user training
Requirements

We're looking for a curious, dependable team player who can turn data into practical tools that help City Utilities work smarter., * Associate degree in GIS, Computer Science, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
- Three to six years of GIS experience
- Experience with spatial data management and web mapping applications
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Valid Indiana driver's license if operating a City vehicle
Preferred Certifications
- GIS training or certification
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- ESRI ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online
- Trimble Work Order Management or a similar system
- Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Excel
- Power BI, SQL, Python, Arcade, APIs, or Model Builder
