Social Media Photography & Video Editing Consultant

As our Social Media Photography & Video Editing Consultant, you'll capture and produce high-quality visual content that reflects our aesthetic and engages our audience across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other digital platforms.

You will work directly with the owner and director to capture behind-the-scenes moments, design insights, styling tips, and brand storytelling content. You'll also collaborate with our broader Social Media team to ensure content aligns with launches, events, merchandising updates, and overall marketing initiatives.

This is a contract/consulting role with flexible hours, based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Photograph completed interior design projects and styled retail displays
• Capture in-store lifestyle imagery and product features
• Film short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, behind-the-scenes, styling tips, launches)
• Work directly with the owner to develop and capture personal brand and business content
• Collaborate with the team on content planning, creative direction, and campaign execution
• Edit photos and videos to align with brand standards
• Optimize content for platform-specific formats and performance
• Maintain an organized digital asset library, * Your portfolio (Instagram and/or website links)
• A brief introduction outlining relevant experience
• Your rates and availability

Lisa McDennon Design in conjunction with Nuance home + lifestyle, is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Photography & Video Editing Consultant to help bring our interior design studio and retail boutique to life online.

If you have a refined visual eye, love styling spaces, and know how to create scroll-stopping content that tells a story - we'd love to meet you., * Proven experience in social media photography and video editing

• Strong portfolio showcasing interior, lifestyle, or retail work
• Comfortable directing and filming a business owner on camera
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar tools
• Understanding of current social media trends and platform formats
• Strong sense of composition, lighting, and storytelling
• Professional, organized, and deadline-driven

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience photographing interior design projects
• Experience working in a retail environment
• Styling background or strong visual merchandising instincts
• Familiarity with brand voice development and content strategy
