Requirements

Strong Linux Expertise: Deep understanding of Linux distributions (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu), including file systems, memory management, and package management.

Database Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.

Vertica Architecture Knowledge: Solid understanding of Vertica's columnar architecture, including projections, encoding, and compression techniques.

Advanced Troubleshooting Skills: Experience using Vertica Management Console and performance tuning tools to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.

Cloud & Storage Experience: Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly object storage technologies.

Systems & Networking Knowledge: Understanding of TCP/IP networking and containerized environments such as Kubernetes.

Vertica Experience: Prior hands-on experience supporting or working with Vertica is strongly preferred.
Benefits & conditions
Annual salary range for this position is between $89,000.00 - $120,150.00 gross before taxes.
