Requirements

  1. Linux

  2. Ansible

  3. Python (Expert)

  4. Bash

  5. CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins), * 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration (RHEL preferred)

  • 3+ years of experience in automation and deployment engineering in large-scale environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ansible (playbooks, roles, automation design)
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python and Bash
  • Experience automating:
  • OS patching
  • Software upgrades
  • Application deployments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of Linux package management (RPM, YUM/DNF, APT)
  • Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS)

Preferred / Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible Tower/AWX)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus, ELK)

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
