Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements

Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features

Debug existing software and correct defects

Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments

Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories

Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards

Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards

Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
Requirements
-
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
-
9 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.

Java, JavaScript frameworks (React), Gitlab, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and modern datastores (NoSQL, Relational, Object).
Desired Skills: Familiar with: spring, Kubernetes, docker, Terraform, Swagger and AWS managed services. System Requirements decomposition, release planning, CI/CD, Test frameworks and automation, and Agile Methodology. Familiar with FOSS & GOTS
Cloud Experience: Shall have one (1) year demonstrated work experience with full stack development; front-end, API and backing datastores. Shall have demonstrated work experience with Spring Boot microservices, 12-Factor applications, serialization such as JSON and/or BSON and CI/CD
Benefits & conditions
Salary Range: $213k-$233k per year with an additional $53k-$58k in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions
