Job description

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical support to users through phone, remote desktop, and email support.
  • Install and maintain end-user computer systems.
  • Support end-user hardware and software systems.
  • Train users on hardware and software usage and policies.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, printers, hardware, and laptops, email problems, MS Office, and basic Active Directory and DNS issues.
  • Collaborate with IT team members, units, and departments to address IT issues.
  • All other assignments as required by the Supervisor

Requirements

  • Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Excellent communication ability
  • Able to adapt to evolving technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills, * Certification as an IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
  • 2 years or more experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory Users, OUs, and Groups
