Job description

MEP Services is seeking an experienced IT Leader to shape and deliver technology solutions that empower our people, strengthen operations, and support continued growth across a dynamic multi-site organization.

In this highly visible leadership role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, connecting business objectives with technology capabilities. You'll oversee IT operations, lead talented support teams, manage critical technology initiatives, and help drive innovation across the organization.

What You'll Do

As the IT Leader, you will be the primary bridge between business stakeholders and IT services, ensuring technology investments align with organizational priorities and deliver meaningful results.

Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership

  • Act as the trusted IT partner for business leaders across MEP Services.
  • Understand business goals, challenges, and opportunities, translating them into effective technology solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure IT initiatives deliver measurable business value and return on investment.
  • Champion technology strategies that support operational excellence and organizational growth.

Technology Operations & Service Excellence

  • Provide leadership for IT operations, including infrastructure, business applications, support services, and service delivery.
  • Ensure high-quality IT services through effective performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and optimize Service Level Agreements (SLAs), driving responsiveness, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and service delivery capabilities.

Project & Portfolio Management

  • Lead and oversee IT projects from planning through execution.
  • Partner with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Prioritize initiatives that align with business objectives and maximize organizational impact.

People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop IT team members across MEP Services.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer-focused service.
  • Manage staffing, coaching, performance development, training, and succession planning.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and continuous professional growth within the IT organization.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage IT budgets and technology investments.
  • Ensure effective allocation of resources and financial stewardship.
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining high service standards.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Gather and document business requirements, performance metrics, and project expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Serve as a key liaison between local operations, corporate shared services, and external partners.

Travel

  • Travel periodically to MEP Services operating companies to support business needs, strengthen partnerships, and ensure consistent service delivery., At MEP Services, technology is a key enabler of our success. As our IT Leader, you'll have the opportunity to:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in complex, multi-site organizations.
  • Proven experience managing IT projects, applications, and support services in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, service delivery, and support operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, financial planning, and technology investments.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to MEP Services locations as required., * PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
  • Experience working within international or geographically dispersed organizations.
  • Proven expertise in SLA management, service improvement, and operational performance optimization.
