Job description
As an A WS Amazon Connect Developer , you will make an impact by building and optimizing cloud-native contact center solutions that deliver intelligent, scalable, and automated customer experiences. You will be a valued member of the Cloud Engineering team and work collaboratively with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and business units to design and implement innovative contact center capabilities.
In this role, you will:

Design and deploy complex contact flows, custom routing profiles, and agent hierarchies within Amazon Connect to support scalable and resilient customer engagement architectures.

Build backend microservices and APIs using AWS Lambda (Node.js/Python), API Gateway, and DynamoDB to manage data and power seamless contact center operations.

Implement conversational AI solutions, including chatbots via Amazon Lex and text-to-speech capabilities with Amazon Polly, to drive intelligent and automated customer interactions.

Integrate the contact center platform with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Zendesk, as well as workforce management tools, to enable a unified customer service ecosystem.

Manage infrastructure deployment using Terraform or CloudFormation and maintain system observability and performance monitoring through Amazon CloudWatch.

Requirements
3-5+ years of experience in cloud-based contact center solutions or a related software engineering field.

Hands-on proficiency with AWS services including Amazon Connect, IAM, S3, SQS, SNS, and event-driven architectures.

Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.

Demonstrated experience designing and implementing highly available, resilient, and secure contact center solutions that address complex business requirements.

Proven ability to deliver serverless integrations and backend microservices using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
