Job description

We're hiring an all-round designer to put the finishing touches on everything we ship, across 4 brands, across digital and print. This is not a "wait for a brief" role. You'll be given broad ownership of design quality across our apps, homepages, packaging, displays, and newsletters, and it's on you to find what needs improving and go fix it, constantly.

Think of it less like "design tasks get assigned to you" and more like "you own the quality bar, and you go raise it wherever you find it falling short."

What you'll do

  • Continuously review and polish our apps, homepages, packaging, displays, and newsletters across all 4 brands, proactively, without waiting to be told what needs work
  • Move fast: high output, short iteration cycles, always shipping improvements
  • Work across both digital (primary) and print (packaging, displays) design
  • Use AI tools to speed up your workflow, from ideation to production, rather than working the traditional/manual way
  • Pick up new tools and software quickly as the work demands it; figure things out independently
  • Set your own priorities based on where quality is weakest or impact is highest

Requirements

  • Self-directed and high-tempo. You don't need things assigned to you: you scan for what's not up to standard and act on it. You move quickly and don't get stuck waiting for direction.
  • Technically adept. Comfortable learning new tools and software on your own, without hand-holding.
  • AI-fluent, not traditional. You actively use AI tools to work faster and better. This is a core part of how you operate, not an optional extra.
  • Genuinely all-round. Confident across UI/UX for apps and web, packaging, retail display design, and email/newsletter design.
  • Comfortable with both digital and print production requirements (the role is mostly digital, but print knowledge matters).
  • Strong eye for detail and craft: this role exists to lift the quality bar, so an instinct for "this isn't good enough yet" is essential.
