Senior PostgreSQL DBA

• Design, implement, and manage high-availability PostgreSQL environments.
• Configure and maintain database replication, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage database lifecycle activities, deployments, upgrades, and automation using Ansible.
• Administer PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Provide Level 3 support for database platforms and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Define database standards, best practices, procedures, and contribute to the database roadmap.
• Monitor database performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and mentor internal team members.

We are looking for an experienced Senior PostgreSQL DBA to lead the implementation and administration of a new high-availability PostgreSQL platform in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive PostgreSQL administration experience along with strong knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases., * Expert-level experience with PostgreSQL Database Administration.

• Strong experience with Oracle Database administration.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with High Availability, Replication, Backup, and Disaster Recovery.
• Experience with Ansible automation.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Red Hat environments.
• Experience with VMware/vSphere.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Zabbix.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExACC).
• Experience with Veeam backup solutions.
• Previous experience working in large enterprise or public sector environments.
• Experience mentoring or training technical teams.
• Relevant database or cloud certifications are a plus.

Language Requirements

• Native or bilingual proficiency in French or Dutch (mandatory).
• Good working knowledge of the second language (French or Dutch).
