Job description
As a Solution Architect, you shape and evolve our platform architecture to enable scalable, secure, and future-ready digital solutions. You connect business and technology by translating complex requirements into clear architectural direction and supporting the continuous improvement of our systems.
Menu of Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture design aligned with business strategy and long-term platform vision
- Analyze and review existing systems (applications, integrations, data flows) to define modernization and cloud-native transformation strategies
- Design scalable and reliable distributed systems across cloud and on-premise environments (AWS, GCP)
- Define and support architecture standards, documentation, and best practices (arc42, C4 Model)
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams and contribute through prototyping and reference implementations (e.g. JVM,gRPC, REST)
- Support the adoption of modern engineering approaches including DevOps, CI/CD, observability, automation, and AI-enabled development, Our commitment extends beyond business success - we want our employees to thrive! Requirements
- Proven experience in solution architecture within complex, distributed and integration-focused environments
- Very good knowledge of designing cloud-native and hybrid architectures (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform)
- Ability to understand, evaluate, and evolve complex application landscapes, including legacy systems and modernization approaches
- Good understanding of architectural patterns and integration styles (e.g. microservices, event-driven, CQRS, messaging systems, APIs)
- Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics in a business context
- Fluent English; other languages are beneficial
- Experience in POS or payment ecosystems is beneficial

When you meet the requirements of this role, you can expect an annual salary of approximately 90 - 110k.
