Web Developer

Micro IT Global is currently looking for a Contractor within the Software Development area, to work onsite for an European Institution based in Cologne Germany.

• Code using Angular, JavaScript (JQuery), HTML5, CSS and/or PHP (Mobile responsive design and/or mobile app development may be requested) from UI/UX designs
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Help identify and fix bugs
• Help develop new automated browser tests
• Implement change requests and maintenance (incident management, problem management)
• Deliver the consultancy service applying Agile development methodology in cooperation with an Agile team
• Development of documentation
• Support the DEVOPS team leader in the schedule definition and estimation of the workload
• Provide support to end-users
• Support the execution of the UAT and the push into the production environment

• Translate UI/UX designs into code using Angular, JavaScript (JQuery), HTML5, CSS and/or PHP
• Development based on Agile Methodologies Experience in implementation of ITIL Best Practices
• Sound experience in the below (non-exhaustive list):

• Angular
• JavaScript (JQuery),
• HTML5,
• CSS
• PHP

• Ability to offer and present clear technical explanations in a user-friendly language on both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills combined with a disciplined approach to problem solving;
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Desirable:

• Technical documentation skills
• Experience in implementation of ITIL Best Practices
• Rapid self-starting capability and team player;
• English Language level: B2 or higher
• Educational qualifications: At minimum Bachelor
