Job description
- Collaborate closely with test engineers on the shop floor to interface instrumentation and control systems with National Instruments (NI) DAQ and Beckhoff data acquisition hardware.
- Design and build intuitive LabVIEW User Interfaces (UIs) that empower test engineers to operate actuators and monitor live, high-frequency sensor telemetry.
- Proactively analyze, debug, and resolve real-time software anomalies and bugs to maintain high test-stand availability.
Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of LabVIEW programming, proven through demanding academic projects, extracurricular initiatives or prior industry experience.
- Solid, practical experience setting up the entire data acquisition chain-from physically connecting sensors and actuators to configuring NI DAQ systems and setting up robust logging environments.
- A strong understanding of sensor signals, industrial automation, or distributed I/O systems (experience with Beckhoff/EtherCAT is a strong plus).
