Your Prospective Job, * Conduct concept and integration studies for new developments and enhancements in existing helicopter programs, considering clearance, functionality, accessibility, maintainability, and functional and operational compatibility for civil and military applications (NH90)

  • Organize Digital Mock-Up (DMU) meetings to prevent geometric, functional, safety-related, accessibility, and maintainability incompatibilities
  • Monitor action plans, develop solution proposals, and perform collision analyses up to design freeze and product release
  • Present results in technical reports and briefings, including corresponding action plans
  • Manage Digital Mock-Up (DMU) activities
  • Import 3D data from partner companies into the product structure of the internal PLM system
  • Update the product structure of the internal PLM system to support parallel development activities (Design in Context)
  • Support a team of experienced vehicle integration engineers in improving the quality and integration maturity of the Digital Mock-Up (DMU) throughout development milestones

Requirements

  • Completed studies in engineering, aerospace or a comparable qualification
  • Work experience in mechanical design, integration and installation of mechanical systems, DMU analysis and maintenance
  • Initial experience in physical design gained during studies or in the early stages of a professional career
  • Good knowledge of Catia V5
  • Fluent English skills both spoken and written
  • Basic knowledge in German
