Job description

  • Providing first- and second-level support and handling inquiries and IT tickets
  • Setup, configuration, administration, and support of IT workstations, end devices, and hardware and software in a Microsoft Windows and Apple iOS environment
  • Assisting and supporting employees with technical issues and conducting training on new or modified systems
  • User, role, and permission management in central IT systems
  • Management, procurement, and inventory of IT hardware, software, and accessories, including organization of warehousing
  • Conducting evaluations, variant comparisons, and cost-benefit analyses in the context of IT procurement and system changes
  • Coordination and management of external IT service providers and service partners
  • Contributing to ensuring stable, high-performance, and secure IT operations, including error, performance, and security management
  • Supporting the administration and maintenance of network, server, and telecommunications environments
  • Participation in IT projects, particularly in the planning, implementation, documentation, and rollout of new systems and applications
  • Maintenance of IT documentation and the knowledge database
  • Support in planning, monitoring, and tracking the IT budget
  • Handling general administrative and organizational tasks within IT

Requirements

  • Successfully completed training in the IT field, e.g., as an IT specialist for system integration, IT systems electronics technician, and/or a degree in computer science or a comparable field; alternatively, relevant long-term professional experience
  • Professional experience in IT support, help desk, or IT systems administration
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and working with mobile devices
  • Knowledge in the areas of networking, user and access management, and IT security
  • Ideally, experience in Microsoft Active Directory, 365, Admin Center, Exchange Online, and/or Intune
  • Strong service orientation and a passion for working with users
  • A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
  • High level of reliability, willingness to learn, and sense of responsibility
