Job description

  • Build, operate, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines
  • Deploy, automate, and operate applications on OpenShift
  • Integrate and operate modern Identity & Access Management (IAM) components (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML)
  • Analyze and resolve incidents in complex platform environments
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools
  • Monitor systems, manage logging, and optimize performance
  • Create and maintain technical documentation according to established standards
  • Collaborate closely with architecture, development, and security teams, * 30 vacation days per year

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins) and container technologies
  • Experience with IAM technologies (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML)
  • Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience operating containerized applications
  • Structured, reliable, and independent working style
  • Fluent German is mandatory

Nice to Have

  • Project experience in the public sector
  • Experience with IBM Verify Access, IGI, or Directory Services
  • Experience with automated, highly available platform environments

Benefits & conditions

  • Workload: Full-time, 5 days/week
  • Location: 100% remote within Germany, with occasional on-site appointments possible
  • Language: Fluent German (minimum C1 level)
  • Monthly salary: 5600 - 7100 EUR/gross

Important Requirements:

  • Residence in Germany is mandatory.
  • A current police clearance certificate must be provided before employment begins. This is a mandatory requirement from the client (a public authority).
  • Willingness to successfully complete a security clearance process under Section 9a BSG (SÜ2). The process will be initiated after contract signing.
