Job description
At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production.
In this role, you are responsible for the operational execution of the production plan and contribute to the on-time delivery of our high-tech products. Working closely with Manufacturing, Business Planning, Process Engineering, Product Owners, Development, and Manufacturing Preparation, you create transparency across production and help maintain a stable and efficient manufacturing flow.
Role and responsibilities
- Production planning & control: Execute the production program plan and monitor production progress to ensure delivery commitments are met.
- Scheduling & prioritization: Prioritize manufacturing orders, determine delivery dates, and take corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence.
- Escalation & issue management: Escalate and coordinate solutions for conflicts, unexpected disruptions, capacity constraints, and production bottlenecks.
- KPI & production reporting: Monitor, prepare, and communicate production status updates and operational KPIs.
- Material & logistics coordination: Monitor material coverage, support manufacturing-related logistics activities, and coordinate storage locations with Manufacturing Preparation.
- Systems & process improvements: Contribute to SAP, manufacturing, and development projects and support continuous process improvements.
- Operational support: Support inventory activities and contribute to ensuring a stable and efficient production flow., * Job with bright future prospects at an innovation leader in the semiconductor industry in Berlin Neukölln
- Remuneration according to company collective agreement (with IG Metall) including 13th monthly salary and variable remuneration components

Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable technical field, or have an equivalent qualification combined with relevant professional experience in production control, production planning, or manufacturing organization.
- You bring several years of experience in production control, production planning, or manufacturing organization.
- You have experience working with planning tools and production scheduling processes.
- You have solid SAP knowledge, particularly in the PP and MM modules.
- You are confident using MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- You have experience in project work and applying Lean Management principles.
- You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
