Job description

Position: Full Stack React.js Engineer (Contract - 12 months) - Remote (Spain); Industry: eCommerce / Technology.

Join a leading technology business as part of a highly skilled engineering team developing and enhancing a modern eCommerce platform. You'll play a key role in delivering new functionality across both the frontend and backend, helping to build scalable applications, improve performance, and contribute to software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with React.js (essential)
  • Excellent knowledge of TypeScript
  • Commercial experience with Vue.js
  • Backend development experience using NestJS (preferred), Node.js, Express.js or Next.js
  • Experience developing modern, responsive, and reusable web applications
  • Understanding of automated testing and willingness to contribute to QA and test automation
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, code reviews, and clean coding principles
  • Experience working within Agile development teams
  • Knowledge of Redis/Valkey caching technologies is advantageous
  • Experience with PostgreSQL is beneficial
  • Exposure to micro frontend architecture is a plus
  • Previous experience with Java/SAP Commerce environments would be highly desirable
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across frontend and backend applications
