Job description

As a Salesforce Lead, you will lead the design, development, and evolution of Waygate Technologies' Salesforce ecosystem while supporting its integration into Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence. Working with international teams across Barcelona, you will provide technical leadership for Salesforce initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that support customer, sales, and service processes. You will act as the technical reference for Salesforce development, collaborating with business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional IT teams to define the future Salesforce landscape., * Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and related applications.

  • Define the Salesforce technical roadmap and ensure alignment with Hexagon's enterprise architecture and best practices.
  • Drive Salesforce integration activities as part of the Waygate acquisition, including system integration, data migration, workflow automation, and interface development.
  • Provide technical leadership, promoting development standards, code quality, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Review solution designs, perform code reviews, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce, ERP systems, data platforms, and other enterprise applications.
  • Evaluate new Salesforce capabilities and recommend platform improvements that deliver business value.
  • Support release management, deployment planning, and continuous platform optimisation.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions while ensuring security, scalability, and long-term maintainability of the Salesforce platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required; Platform Developer II, Application Architect, System Architect, or other advanced Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.
  • 6+ years of professional experience developing Salesforce solutions.
  • 2+ years of experience leading Salesforce projects or technical teams.
  • Extensive experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ.
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, REST APIs, integrations, and Salesforce platform architecture.
  • Proven experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems and other enterprise applications.
  • Solid understanding of solution architecture, data modelling, integration patterns, and object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and leading technical delivery across international teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
