Requirements
specification manuals - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline - Several years of experience in satellite and/or payload systems engineering, including full mission lifecycle delivery - Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams within a space environment - Strong knowledge of satellite subsystems and payload technologies (power, communications, AOCS, propulsion, EO payloads, etc.) - Hands-on experience in manufacturing, integration, and testing of payloads or satellite platforms - Expertise in system verification, validation, and environmental testing (vibration, acoustic, shock, thermal vacuum, EMC) - Experience with AIV processes and ground support equipment (MGSE / EGSE) - Proficiency with simulation and analysis tools such as STK, GMAT, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar - Experience with hardware design tools (e.g. SolidWorks or equivalent) and thermal/FEM analysis - Strong Python development skills and solid Linux proficiency - Practical experience working in agile development environments Advantageous Experience - Experience with thermal imaging payloads (MWIR, LWIR, etc.) - Familiarity with geospatial standards and formats (e.g. OGC WMS/WMTS/APIs, STAC, COG) - Experience with containerised applications (e.g. Docker) - Exposure to cloud architectures supporting image processing pipelines - Understanding of imaging processing chains and downstream imaging products
