Cluster Operations Manager, Data Center Operations (DCO)

This is a senior leadership role where you'll own safety, security, availability, scaling, costs, and efficiency across a 24/7 operation. You'll lead the team responsible for installing, maintaining, and decommissioning network and server equipment - but your primary focus is people. You'll build and grow a high-performing organization of managers and technicians from the ground up, shaping a culture of operational excellence as the region scales., * People Leadership: Build, lead, and develop a team of Data Center Managers and 100+ associates. Recruit talent, grow leaders, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous learning.

• Strategic Vision: Define and execute the operational strategy for the Aragón region, aligning with AWS global standards while adapting to local growth demands.
• Operational Excellence: Own all operational KPIs - drive process improvement, automation, and innovation to raise the bar on safety, availability, and efficiency.
• Scaling & Expansion: Plan and execute the operations component of new data center build-outs as the region grows, ensuring readiness from day one.
• Incident Leadership: Manage Large Scale Events and act as call leader, ensuring rapid resolution and clear communication.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across AWS teams to share best practices globally and ensure the region benefits from - and contributes to - operational excellence worldwide.

About the team AWS Infrastructure Services keeps the cloud running. We own the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure - the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling that give our customers continual access to the innovation they rely on.
