Job description

Juice is proud to be working with a growing UK technology business is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join their expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working closely with customers, and acting as the bridge between commercial and engineering teams. The role combines technical support, quality assurance, platform monitoring and customer onboarding, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a varied, fast-paced SaaS environment.

Working alongside Sales, Customer Success and Engineering, you'll become the go-to technical expert, ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience while helping shape and improve the platform as the business continues to scale.

This is a temp to perm opportunity with 2-4 weeks temping before perm offered if KPI's are met.

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer technical support, investigating and resolving issues raised via tickets, email and calls
  • Perform manual testing and quality assurance on new features before and after release to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Monitor platform performance, identifying issues and escalating where appropriate
  • Support customers with onboarding, integrations and platform configuration
  • Work closely with Sales during technical demonstrations, implementation and pre-sales discussions
  • Reproduce, document and communicate software bugs clearly to the engineering team
  • Configure customer-specific workflows, branding and integrations
  • Gather customer feedback and recurring feature requests to help influence future product development
  • Carry out basic technical investigations using SQL, API logs, browser developer tools and other diagnostic tools where required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Technical Support or Customer Success Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a genuine curiosity for understanding how systems work
  • Experience reading and understanding frontend code, ideally HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Experience carrying out manual testing and producing detailed bug reports
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive approach with strong ownership of customer issues through to resolution

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAVE:

  • Working knowledge of SQL for data investigation
  • Experience with React or similar frontend technologies
  • Knowledge of API and webhook troubleshooting using tools such as Postman
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Sentry, Datadog or Grafana

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary of approximately £35,000-£50,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working with the majority of time spent remotely and occasional visits to the Bath office
