Data Engineer

You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, developing robust data models and ensuring high quality, secure and accessible data across the organisation's reporting environment., * Build and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and related technologies

• Develop lakehouse architectures, data models and semantic layers
• Integrate data from a variety of operational systems, cloud platforms and APIs
• Optimise datasets and reporting performance within the Microsoft ecosystem
• Support data governance, quality, security and compliance initiatives
• Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions

• Proven experience in data engineering using Microsoft Fabric, Azure or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of data modelling and modern analytics architectures
• Experience optimising data for Power BI reporting and dashboards
• Strong SQL skills with experience of DAX and Python or other scripting languages
• Understanding of data governance, GDPR and data quality best practice
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
