Job description
Joining us as an Information Analyst, you'll play a key role in helping Children's Services use data and insight to improve outcomes for children, young people and families. You'll turn complex information into meaningful intelligence that supports decision-making, drives service improvement and helps ensure resources are targeted where they can have the greatest impact.
You'll work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the service to develop reporting solutions, identify trends and opportunities, and improve the quality and use of data. Through your analytical skills, curiosity and commitment to continuous improvement, you'll help shape how information is used to support Early Help services and deliver positive change for our communities.
What you'll do:
- Anayse and interpret data to identify trends, issues and opportunities that support service improvement and decision making.
- Develop reports, dashboards and data visualisations that provide clear and accessible insight for a range of audiences.
- Support improvements to Early Help and Best Start in Life reporting, data quality and information management processes.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver data-focused projects and develop solutions to business challenges.

Requirements
- Experience using Microsoft Excel at an advanced level and reporting or data querying tools such as SQL.
- Good knowledge of a range of data tools and the ability to manipulate, interpret and present data effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying trends, drawing meaningful conclusions and producing high-quality outputs.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Proactive, organised and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous learning and improving outcomes through data and insight.
